Applying a texture to a polygon, from a image in Sharp.GL

I have just recently been using Sharp.GL to display 3D graphics, by loading .obj files into polygons and then rendering them. The problem I am facing is that I cannot apply a texture to the polygon using Sharp.GL. Also the Sharp.GL Scene/ OpenGL control is applying a red color to everything.

Do you know anything, on how to fix these problems?
